Blue Moon Website

Blue Moons website was in need of an overhaul that could reflect their company culture and its service offerings. This dynamic Employee Engagement and Events company called on one of their trusted suppliers, Nicework, to take on this challenge.

Blue Moon is an established Integrated Employee Engagement (IEE) and Events company. They help big companies engage their employees and stakeholders for a variety of people and business related goals.

Discovery:

Being a dynamic brand with innovative service offerings, Blue Moon needed a website that reflected this. Their old site had become outdated, so they put a call in to Nicework and we stepped up to the task at hand. Having worked extensively with Bluemoon, we understood just what it was they were after.

Brief:

• Overhaul Blue Moon’s website to give it a contemporary look fitting the brand’s values and service offerings

Challenges:

• Website needed to showcase their work in an easy to access manner and ofcourse be beautiful!

Tackling the Brief:

Having worked extensively with Blue Moon, we used this insight to inform our design approach.

The design was kept clean and simple with minor illustrative touches to reflect the company’s personable culture.  We used moon iconography and circles for navigation and kept the brand colours of red and grey.

The gallery pages were tackled using thumbnails – a good way to present a large amount of content visually.  A ticket-shaped sidebar was introduced, subtly referencing the Blue Moon logo.
