U.S. computer manufacturer Dell has invested in using bamboo for their packaging. Bamboo is a sustainable material, biodegradable and compostable. Its fibers also ensure the strength of the packaging. Well done Dell!

111 Navy Chair

The original aluminum 1006 Navy Chair was designed by Emeco in 1944. The new 111 Navy Chair uses 111 Coca-Cola bottles to create a plastic, environmentally-friendly version of the original. The design is expected to keep 3 million Coca-Cola plastic bottles out of landfills each year.
