2012 London Olympics Designed

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Given that the 2012 Olympics are in full-swing it seems like a fitting time to do a round up of all the Olympic-inspired design that has been floating around the internet recently. We hope you enjoy it.

A retro-inspired poster by Andrew Maunders that draws influence from the design and typography of the 1948 Olympics (the last time the event was held in London).

An original painting by Riccardo Guasco for a temporary online exhibition titled: “London 2012: Let’s celebrate the true spirit of sport”.

A small icon set created by local illustration collective Studio Muti for Brownbook, which focuses on the Olympics and athletes in the Middle East.

Charis Tsevis created these bright faceted illustrations for the Yahoo! Olympic advertising campaign “The Once-In-A-Lifetime moments that happen every four years”.

A booklet designed by Marisa Passos that functions as a quick guide about the sports at the Olympic Games.
