Typefaces inspired by folded paper are a dime a dozen, but here’s one with a difference. Robert Jamal Gamby, design student at the University of Kansas, created Papes – a folded paper typeface with a set of rules that dictate how shadows will fall on each letterform. It’s a marriage of our two favourite things – beautiful design and SCIENCE. The fact that he snuck in a reference to The Office doesn’t hurt either. Check it out!
